Elvisi ka kaluar rininë e tij në Peterborough të Ontarios, ku qysh në moshë të re ra në sy për natyrën sipërmarrëse, shpirtin bujar dhe karakterin e afrueshëm. Më poshtë po botojmë një shkrim të Alket Kullës, i cili ia ka njohur cilësitë e mira njerëzore si bashkëmoshatar gjatë kohës që Elvisi jetonte në Kanada.

I am saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my dear friend Elvis Karaj, who left us far too soon at the age of 48.
Elvis and his family played a significant role in helping my family settle in Canada after we arrived in the early ’90s. As a young immigrant trying to find my place in a new country, Elvis made me feel safe, protected, and welcomed, especially during my high school years. He was more than a good friend, he was like a big brother to me.
As the years pass, you begin to realize the profound impact certain people have on your life. Elvis was one of those rare individuals. He had a genuine heart, an infectious smile, and a larger-than-life personality. He was a free-spirited entrepreneur who wasn’t afraid to chase his dreams. He opened one of Peterborough’s Alba Pizza, big part of the start of Pizza Alloro a staple today in Buckhorn, a lasting reminder of his vision, determination, and hard work.
People like Elvis only come around once in a lifetime. He had a gift for making everyone feel valued, respected, and welcome. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched countless lives.
Thank you for looking out for me when I was just a young kid trying to find my way. I will always be grateful for your friendship and for making me feel like I belonged.
The people you touched, the people you helped, and the people whose lives you changed will always remember you.
Your legacy will live on through the countless lives you touched.
